BULLETIN:
Study of solutions of first order differential equations, solutions of linear differential equations of order n, applications, linear systems, and series solutions. Prerequisite: MATH 283.
OBJECTIVES:
After finishing this course, the student should be able to apply classical means to solve first order and linear n-th order differential equations as well as linear systems.  Students will be introduced to the Laplace Transform and will use it to solve some ODE's including an integrodifferential equation.

UP SOLUTIONS

Late homework (MORE THAN ONE CLASS DAY LATE) is deducted at the rate of 20% per class day late --- see me about late work due to illness.
Paper should be approximately 8.5 by 11; one or both sides may be used.
Must be neat.
Must be done in pencil (or LaTeX) to be accepted.
Due at the beginning of the class period.
Papers are to be folded as a book with name and assignment number on the outside as illustrated.
GRADING: Homework:  16% of grade.

Hour Exams:  24% + 24% = 48% of grade.

Final:  36% of grade.
