CPTR-215 Assembly Language Programming HW#7 Due Wednesday

Complete a thorough reading of chapter 5. If things are not making sense come see me, email me, or call me at office or home. Or bring questions to class. If things are not making sense and you haven't done the reading then read. For this class knowing the details can make a big difference and it is hard to cover them all in class.

Also note from the assignment sheet that you need to read chapter 2.

And so I don't forget to mention in class, the date and time for the final exam listed on the syllabus may be incorrect. The correct time is shown on the schedule sheet that is now posted on the class web page (at the bottom of the assignment list).

Do the following problems on page 66 & 67 of the text. Note that this is a pencil and paper assignment:

5.5 for 5.4 b
5.6 d
Note the discussion on page 59 at the start of section 5.5 regarding operation of the MOVS instruction.
